SafeD Athens Inc is a nonpartisan 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to boosting safety and security in Athens. We partner with law enforcement, city officials, state agencies, and the University of Georgia to craft and launch innovative safety programs. With over 7,000 parents, students, and community members on board, we focus on proactive solutions to prevent safety issues before they arise. Although we operate independently from the University of Georgia and Athens-Clarke County, our mission is to enhance safety for both students and the entire Athens community.
